The American IPA is a different soul from the reincarnated IPA style. More flavorful than the withering English IPA, color can range from very pale golden to reddish amber. Hops are typically American with a big herbal and / or citric character, bitterness is high as well. Moderate to medium bodied with a balancing malt back bone.

Pours a cloudy light orange with an average white lasting head. Sweet citrus (orange) and pine aromas. Nice balance of sweet and bitterness with caramel notes. The end has some soapiness; otherwise, a well made brew.

Can from Tipples. No date visible. Pours copper, clear, with a big fluffy white to off white head. Nice floral nose with some light malts shining through, light tropical sweetness, grass. Not bad. Flavor is light grass, hint of fruit, watery malt, and a dirty macro lager finish. Very light bodied with medium carbonation . No this isn't terrible, but there are so many better options out there I don't really know why this exists.

Pours a golden orange with a thick white head. Aroma of malt and pine. Taste is muted piney hops and sweet malt. Average ipa, nothing special

12 OZ Can courtesy of Brian. Thanks. Pour a cloudy amber color with a small white head that has fair retention. The aroma was fairly unremarkable and faint with just a hint of citrus. The taste had a nice dose of bitterness and had a certain murky mixed citrus appeal. The malt base was a mix of breads and biscuit and I liked that a lot. The palate was full and smooth with soft carbonation. Finished somewhat short and dry. Overall: Not bad, not great, but a pleasure to try.

Can. Orangish amber with foamy offwhite head. This IPA just didn’t suit my taste. Malty and nutty aromas and flavors are more dominant than than any hop characteristics.

Can to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs; thanks burg326). Looks solid; malty though. A cloudy brownish orange with off-white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of fairly sweet pale malt and hops - in that order. Tastes like it smells with a it of citrus and a solid mouthfeel that falls on the dryer side. Not bad.

Not bad. Dirty amber pour white head. Floral and orange some pine aroma and taste. Caramel and honey? Pretty sticky. Not as clean as I like my iPas. Light body light to medium carbonation.
