Draft at Snallygaster 2014. Poured a light, pale green-yellow color with almost no head to speak of. Aroma was some tart apple. Flavor was apple flavors, sweet apple juice. A little dry, but too sweet - probably would be a bigger hit with people who like the most sweet varieties of cider that are less dry like champagne.

White wine pour. Some crab apple. Fizzy carbonation. Tart finish. Tap at Snallygaster.

Bottle sample at the source. Clear pale yellow color, champagne head and bubbles. Aroma of apple skins. Taste is indeed dry apple skins, dry finish. My favorite of the bunch.

Bottle sample @ Bold Rock. The pour’s light gold with a tiny head. The nose is lemon, green apple, pear. A bit of honey. Woodland. The taste is almost champagne-like. Effervescent body. Soft apple, mild citrus. Light body, moderate carbonation. Pleasant, simple.

750 mL bottle from Whole Foods Market Charlottesville. Pours a clear pale golden color with a medium sized foamy white head. Good retention for a cider. Aroma of mildly sweet apples with a faint vegetal/herbaceous notes. Tart apple taste, faint hints of vanilla and earth. Medium bodied. Fairly simple, fairly dry, decently drinkable.
