COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Just as the Breton tiskell that represents earth, water and fire, Bolée d’Armorique allies in harmony the elements of a preserved nature and the powerful spirit of a tradition selfishly protected Typical and tasty, the Bolée d’Armorique L. Raison is made in the heart of Armorican Brittany. It is made out of 100% pure first press Breton juices.

330ml bottle from Oddbins London Bridge. Picked this up thinking it was an artisan cider from a small independent Breton producer unaware it’s made by one of the Britanny cidre giants, due to there being no mention anywhere on the label. Funny that. Anyway, this isn’t that bad. Nice dry edge to a typically light, sweet cider with a very slight hint of sourness.

McNeillR (1122) - SCOTLAND - APR 29, 2013
Clear piss yellow, odd lick of a head from mild carbonation. Earthy apple scent, nothing too overpowering, slight boggy dampness as things flatten. Nothing too bitter on the initial taste, smooth mouthfeel matches lack of crisp refreshment. Tangy tart finish with a cotton mouth dryness and a firm medicinal linger.

Bottle, Provenance Wines, Edinburgh
