Fluorescent yellow. Small bubbles. Slightly herbal hop aroma, a bit doughy. Herbal hop with a light bite. Like a proper pils, with light sweetness at the end alongside moderate bitterness. Became a go-to beer on Cyprus.

ElDesmadre (944) - Mikołów, POLAND - JUL 19, 2011
Bottle. Aroma of malt, dough and some hops, it partly reminded me of a kvass. Taste is pretty much watery and low on bitterness but as it is doughy, it at least stands out among other Bulgarian pale lagers.

Beershine (5173) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - MAR 9, 2011
UPDATED: MAR 26, 2011 Tall can acquired in Paphos Romanian/Bulgarian market. Sickly yellow swill color with slimy small head. Served icy cold, smells alright. Just smelling clean cereal grains and some tin can. Thin and fizzy. Flavors are not bad. Finishes nicely dry with a decent bit of hop bitterness. Don’t let it warm up too much and it’s a drinkable pale lager.

Can in Bulgaria. Clear, yellow-gold pour with an airy, fading white head. Corn and grain aroma, faint floral hops. Medium sweet, some cereal, dough and metal, some light bitterness. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Crisp, lightly grainy finish. Good enough.

DSG (3929) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - DEC 17, 2010
Can. Clear golden with a medium white head. Grainy aroma with some cooked corn and some metallic hints. Flavor has some sweetish, slightly bready, grainy malt and finishes with a bit of bitterness. Watery. Not good at all.

Sigmund (4205) - Tau, NORWAY - OCT 16, 2010
500 ml bottle, a gift, BB date 25.08.08. Pale golden colour, moderate but lasting white head. Moderate carbonation in the glass. The aroma has first a whiff of grassy hops, then notes of cooked vegetables and undefined chemicals. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour has some hops and is first fairly refreshing, then the "chemical" notes from the aroma disturbs the tasting process too much.
