Bottle in Bulgaria. Pours a cloudy, light gold with a small, white head. Very yeast aroma with some sharp malts and fruits. Flavor is lightly sweet and moderately yeasty with further notes of acute malts. Interesting. Light to medium in body with lively carbonation. Finish is a bit lighter on the yeast. Some notes of lemon and orange citrus, faint bread, some tang. Overall a little bland but quite drinkable.

On tap at Birarnaya Khalbite (Sofia, Bulgaria). Cloudy blond body with a decent white foamy head. Good malty/hoppy aroma with yeasty, citrusy, and spicy hints. Taste is fair but lacks complexity. It carries some coriander notes and ends with a decent bittersweet finish.

Bottle sampled at Nessebar, Black Sea. Pours golden with medium carbonation. Well rounded flavour with more than a hint of banana and a touch of citrus zest. Certainly a step up from the monotonous macro lagers of this country, and holds its own with other members of its genre from farther west.

Bottled, murky yellow color, thick foamy head, sweet nose. Aroma is wheat, and citrus. Flavour is the same with yeast. Not bad, the German tourists will love this on the Black Sea beaches.
