Bottle from Oxfam shop Brussels. Dark brown body with tan, rocky head. Nose of caramel and malts. Texture quite prickly. Sweet and watery. Some dark fruit flavours. Gets syrupy sweet in the finish and warming. Not bad.

Het schuim van dit fair-trade bier was wandklevend, maar sloeg snel plat. Zowel in geur als smaak waren suikers (karamel) prominent aanwezig, zonder dat dit storend werkte.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a bubbly brown head. The aroma has strong notes of fruit and phenol as well as lighter notes of apples, caramel, spices, and bread. The flavor is very sweet with a slightly acidic edge and with notes of apples and phenols as well as lighter notes of bread and caramel, leading to a dry finish.
