Draught@Brewpub (as Tørvebissen Classic). Amber colour with mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is rather malty, with some quite hoppy and wooden notes as well. Flavour is bready malts, some herbs, mild floral hoppy notes along with some quite earthy notes. Clean and rather refreshing brew.

On tap. Pours an almost clear amber golden with a dense and creamy off-white head leaving laces. Rather caramellish nose. Medium body, heavy carbonation, roasted malt and caramel - and what appears like odd and skewed fermentation errors. But again fairly well hopped. 190210

Handbottle, courtesy of UKP. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is roasted malt, slight breadish. Smooth caramelish and light breadish dry flavoured. Roasted and breadish malt flavoured into the finish, vague fruity note. Simple malt loaded brew.

Cloudy amber with a medium beige head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel, peat, and toasted malt. Sweet flavour with fruity, caramel, toasted malt, peat and hoppy notes. Finished dry and bitter.

Draft at the brewpub. A hazy amber beer with a thin lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of caramel, nuts, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, nuts, and malt, and then a light note of phenol which leaves a thin cover on the tongue before the bitter finish sets in. I guess a light fermentation flaw I think.

Unclear medium red orange amber color with a average, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light roasted, toffe notes, light licorice. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100108]
