A delightfully hoppy bitter. Clean & crisp with a very light golden colour and a refreshing bitter aftertaste.

Cask at the GBBF 2011. Amber with a small white head. Aroma of caramel and toffee with a hint of diacetyl. Sweetish caramel flavour with a decent bitter finish

Cask conditioned at Fleetwood Beer Fest ’11. Amber with white head. Dry malty bitter, a touch fruity perhaps, there is a good fullness of flavour on the palate. Leafy hoppy bitterness in the close, a well put together beer for me.

Cask. A dark golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of diacethyl and fruits on a lightly malty background. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, diacethyl, and fruits, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2010. Gold, thin off white head. Bit of urine like aroma on the hops. Very citric, ascetic. Too ascetic for me.

Cask (handpump) @ NWAF 10, National Winter Ales Festival, The Venue, Sheridan Suite, Manchester, England.

Clear light medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, lemon. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat to soft. [20100120]

(Cask at GBBF, London Earl’s Court, 4 Aug 2010) Golden colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit and grass. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, grainy malt and a solid citrussy bitterness in a fairly dry finish. Below medium body, dry with an impressive bitterness. Very nice beer and the low abv makes it so drinkable.

Cask Conditioned gravity dispense Peterborough BF 2010. A copper coloured beer with a white head. The aroma is fruity lemony pithy. Zesty fruity hops in the mouth. Pretty bitter and over citric for me in the aftertaste.

Cask@GBBF2010. Goldeny amber colour with small white head. Aroma is fruity, bready, a bit wooden as well as quite grassy. Flavour is nutty, fruity, bready bit wooden as well as some grassyness in the finish. Pleasant bitter.
