3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 imdownthepub (7470) - Banbury, - MAY 16, 2011
Bottle conditioned, 500ml from Favourite Beers, Cheltenham, Gloucs. Gold with white, full head. I was initially quite worried with this as there was a deposit around the neck ring and I wondered whether the cap was fully sealed, but I was soon put at ease. The beer is light and bright with a fresh, green hoppy note, freshly cut grass with lemonade came to mind. The malty body was crisp and biscuity. All in all a pretty pleasant BCA.
