Can 500ml (Stockmann Tallinn) as "Big Mug Amber"
Pale yellow color, mostly vanishing white head. Light grainy and cardboardish aroma. LIght to medium-bodied. Sweet honeyish, kind of cidery flavor. Oily palate. Short finish. Not terrible, but nothing to drink another time.

500ml can (Stockmann, Tallinn) - shared by Tbone - thanks!
Pale. Apple retronasals. Simple malts, thin body. Extracty hops, very thin no aromaticity, a little metallic. ALmost clean, definitely boring, and not very good.

Quack-Duck (7523) - Down South, GERMANY - MAY 14, 2012
1.5l plastic bottle from a local Russian supermarket. Clear golden yellow, very stable and large white head. Fruity nose. Light-bodied, malty base with hints of apples, shy hops with a touch of cardboard and a touch of old fruit. Nevertheless quite drinkable.

500ml bottle. Big Mug Amber. Pours a pale gold, not amber with a fizzy white head that dissipates with no lacing. The smell is nearly nonexistent besides a hint of malt. the flavor is paper, vegetable, malt, and a hint of herbal hops. Not very good. Glad it was only 99 cents because it is worth jsut a bit less.

Sampled as big Mug Amber in a 1.5l bottle. The body was rich caramel brown with a thin patchy white head. The nose was sweet caramel with some nutty almonds. The taste has some rich peanuts and caramel. There is also a brown sugar sweetness. This is like a vienna to me.

Can. As "Big Mug Amber Beer". Clear golden with a small, quickly-dissipating white head. Aroma has some graininess, light corny hints, a bit of malt, hay and light hoppiness with faint metallic hints. Flavor starts with light sweetness, with a bit of grainy and corny notes, and continues drier with some bitterness in the finish. Light-bodied. Pretty clean and not too offensive, but still not so fun to drink.

From a big plastic bottle marked "Big Mug Amber" Pours a bright orange color, which reminds me that it’s not only here in the US that the word "Amber" gets thrown around with reckless abandon. The head on the beer is very loose and doesn’t stick around very long. The aroma is malty sweet and has some alcohol, but it’s not really offensive, just boring and a little weird. The flavor is similar to the aroma, malty sweet with just a light zing of hops, some grainy flavors along with some cornflake corny sweetness that seems to be the focus of this beer. It’s really actually very easy to drink and I can see where the appeal would exist for a bright colored sweet smooth pale lager. It’s not really for me though.

0,5l can as "Big Mug Amber". Clear yellow color. No head, flat. Malty, metallic aroma. Sweet, mild bitter, herbs in flavor. Weird unclean aftertaste.
