Bottle.Pale gold medium head,aroma is clean and grassy with hops and some crab apple,taste is fresh golden and grassy,apple and lemon with hops and a swim in a cold river,dry bitter finish.

Comments: A most interesting beer that looks like pure gold and impresses by its genuine freshness and brightly extracted flavours.

From bottle at In de Wildeman. Pours cloudy deep golden with a big lacing head. Intense hoppy aroma, of hay mostly. Very bitter, like drinking grass; German Landbier gone extreme? Full-bodied, well-carbonated. dares to be different.

50cl swing-top bottle thanks to der Doppelbock (Sebastian). Cloudy, unfiltered, dark yellow pour. Small white head. Nose of yeast, malt, a bit citrusy. Taste: nice malt profile, musty, very yeasty but not in a bad way. Bitter, lip-licking on the back-end-alcohol is faintly noticeable. Mouth is foamy, full, and flavorful going down. A nice beer-wish I some more of these for the hot Houston summer.

Cask in the german bar in london with ang and bro. Alround rating: Great pale lager malt character, bitter herbal hop. nice and drinkable stuff.

Bottle. Bronze beer with a strong head. The aroma is dry and yeasty with a tiny malty element, the flavour is very bitter, dry and yeasty. Overall a very nice refreshing German beer.

Bottle from Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam.Pour unclear golden with a big frothy white heaf. Grassy hops aroma. Taste is bitter with a lively mouthfeel.Ends more fresh malty, indeed more sweet than the initial taste suggest. Strange and good beer

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a dense white head. Mild malty and light grainy/grassy aroma. Flavour is solid bitter grassy with a little note of malt. Medium sweet. Solid bitter finish.

bottle, Danke pivnizub! Cloudy pale yellow with a large and creamy head, very persistent. Full-bodied, very pleasant mouthfeel. Hoppy and aromatic, solid malty background. Lovely!
