3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A cloudy, somewhat brownish beer. It has a firm and lightbrown layer of foam. A pleasant aroma of baked bread. it tastes somewhat bitter/sour. The aftertaste is bitter and doesn’t leave for a while. it leaves a dry palate.
Een troebel, bruinig bier. De schuimkraag is stevig en lichtbruin. Een goed aroma van vers afgebakken bruin brood komt je tegemoet. De smaak is enigszins bitterzuur. De nasmaak is bitter en blijft achter in de mond hangen. Droge afdronk.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from McTapps - thank you so much, Sabine! Pours hazy dark amber with stable off-white head. Slightly dusty aroma with notes of hops, malt, caramel and yeast. Dusty and bitter flavour of hops with sparse malty notes. Rough aftertaste. A decent Altbier, despite the watery tones.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
from bottle. pours a dark and hazy copper colour with a frothy beige head that disappears instantly. the aroma is quite interesting for an alt as it combines the typical alt characteristics, such as malty nuttiness and caramel, with subtle yeast and basement notes. light to medium body, average carbonation and watery texture. quite a good balance between crisp and clean hoppiness and decent maltiness. it even has a slight trace of sourness to it, ending in a slightly bitter aftertaste. however, all in all it feels a bit thin and uncomplex though. but that does not make it less enjoyable. solid brew!

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours dark amber with a creamy head. Slightly sour aroma; while not directly unpleasant it’s not exactly inviting either. Easy drinking beer but with zero memorable characteristics in the flavour.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Bierland, pours dark brown with a cream head, malty slightly nutty nose, hoppy and earthy bitterness in the mouth, faint hints of strawberry and caramel, reminiscent of a dark English bitter but with an extra earthy herby pleasantly acrid edge.
