Pours a very light but hazy yellow with white head. Aroma has some light banana notes but not much. Mouth feel is very full body. Taste is a bit lacking rather yeasty with malt and banana and citrus notes. Not the best.

The filtered version of Bomonti distinguished not only by the filtering process, but it is also brewed from 100% malt and is thus a so-called all-malt lager. The brewery should have done a major advertising out it, instead of just launching it as unfilterered lager. Foam is dense and continuous and it emits a fresh hoppy aroma. The taste is fresh grain and malt sweetness and have little fruit fill with the fullness which unfortunately can not be specified in detail by me, for it is only a slender little tang. Hoppy bitterness is very carefully balanced so its aftertaste of freshness and malt held protracted. Very elegant pilsner where barley malt allowed to show everything it contains.

larsga (6816) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 20, 2015
Medium white head. Clear pale yellow body with light carbonation. Strawy buttery aroma with grain notes. Sweetish buttery caramel taste. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Sweetish papery caramel aftertaste with dusty buttery wet straw notes. Vague acidity in background. When you analyze it it sounds awful. When you just drink it it’s kind of ok. Didn’t finish it. (0.5l bottle, gift from wife.)

Hazy yellow, only white lacing. Aroma is of malt, hay, wet bread and sulphur or eggs. Taste medium sweet malt, some bread, bit of cardboard, hay, cooked veggies, yeast and at the start also some sulphur (less than in the nose) although it does mellow out at the middle of the glass. Light bodied.

Bottle. Hazy straw colored liquid with a medium thick white head. A bit sweet and dry aroma of grains, spicy yeast phenol and dough, wheat, some spicy hops and hints of lemon. Increased levels of cooked vegetables/DMS as it gets warmer. Light bodied grainy palate with high carbonation. Flavor has citrus, grains, dough, wheat. Finish has DMS and some banana(!). Dry aftertaste, with a grainy texture and some earthy notes and paper glue at low levels. The unfiltered yeast does a fairly good job in hiding off flavors initially in the first pour.
