Ungstrup (11143), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 17, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. A light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with strong citrusy hoppy notes as well as notes of melba. The aroma is sweet mlaty with notes of hops, fruit (grapefruit), and grass, leading to a bitter finish. yespr (6400), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 6, 2008 From tap at the brewpub. Pours pale yellow with a lacing white head. Peachy hops aroma with an underlying grapefruity note. Flavour follows this closely with a delicate fruity hops flavour. Smooth and light. not much malt to balance this, but it works out okay. Smooth and dry finish with a lingering hops flavour. HarryFlashman (409), Chatham, Kent, England Oct 21, 2007
Sampled on Flashy’s tour of LA, New Zealand and Hong Kong of September/October 2007 - I tried this in the Westin Bonaventure hotel where it was on tap. I liked it a lot - nice and bitter in a hoppy way - very palatable. Nothing like an IPA though, tasted more like an American Pale Ale, but still very good. drainey (219), Chicago, Illinois, USA Apr 27, 2006 On tap at Bonaventure. Very light straw colored body with a small white head. Looked more like a pale lager than an IPA. Some aroma of hops and citrus. Flavor begins with a hit of hops - and doesn’t do much else. Not much balance or complexity of flavor. Seemed a bit thin as well.
