la1965 (22), Los Angeles, California, USA Jan 11, 2008 On tap at brewery very citrus grainpfruit from cascade. typical pale ale very good nothing out of ordinary but it is what you would expect. A good west coast pale. Nice Taverner (417), San Ramon, California, USA Jan 7, 2008 Pallid but hoppy...mild but bitter. Poured minimal head into a 23 oz (this is one thing nice about Bonaventure) stein. omhper (10141), Stockholm, Sweden Dec 18, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Lightly hazy pale amber, no head. Grapefruit aroma. Clean and crisp with light body and somewhat soapy mouthfeel. Bitter finish. An uncomplicated, nicely hoppy, very drinkable classic style American Pale Ale. Charlzm (247), Los Angeles, California, USA Nov 19, 2007 On draft at brewery, 11/19/07. Same golden-yellow color (give or take a shade or two) as their blonde, IPA and strawberry brews. Indistinct hop aroma (grapefruit, maybe?). Adequate head. Pleasing malt notes offset by moderate hop flavor. Well-balanced. Nice lingering hop bitterness on finish. Competent but otherwise not notable. can8ianben (575), Pasadena, California, USA Jan 29, 2007 My favourite from the 5 beer sampler I tried. Its hoppy and sweet, also well balanced. I guess I’m a sucker for bold pale ales, I could drink a lot of this. Nice orange colour and a frothy head.
