Draft at the brewpub. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of grapefruit and hops as well as light notes of caramel and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and grass, as well as lighter notes of grapefruit and hops, leading to a grainy and bready finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Mild fruity and caramelish aroma. Flavour is sweet fruity at first before a more proounced dry bitterness takes over.

Draught at the brewpub. Lightly hazy pale amber, no head. Grapefruit aroma. Clean and crisp with light body and somewhat soapy mouthfeel. Bitter finish. An uncomplicated, nicely hoppy, very drinkable classic style American Pale Ale.

UPDATED: AUG 7, 2006 Draft... Hazy, amber ale with orange highlights and a fizzy, off-white head. Grapefruit and freshly cut flowers in the nose. The flavor is decently balanced, but a touch on the bitter side. No real malt character, just some citrusy/grapefruit notes. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, bitter finish.

A Sim rate (on tap at the brewpub, LA): Aroma is fresh and slightly hoppy. Flavour has a subtle but quite nice bitter hop. Not great, but drinkable and does the trick.

Draft. Amber beer with a low whitish head. Slight citrus/caramel aroma and flavor. LIngering caramel. Not much going on but it might have been their beer with the most good flavor.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear copper color with a small white head. The aroma is sweet earthy citrus hops. The flavor is a mellow lightly bitter hop with some grain. Somewhat dirty.

Nice light hop aroma. Pretty balanced pale ale. Hops first, thane a malt middle; kinda English style. Very cloudy color. Drinkable.

My favourite from the 5 beer sampler I tried. Its hoppy and sweet, also well balanced. I guess I’m a sucker for bold pale ales, I could drink a lot of this. Nice orange colour and a frothy head.

Pallid but hoppy...mild but bitter. Poured minimal head into a 23 oz (this is one thing nice about Bonaventure) stein.
