1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 Schroppfy (2328) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - DEC 14, 2010
Cereal, vague graininess. Hops, but all grass. Starchy, overly bready beer. Note to self; don’t make a boner by buying this beer again. Or, conversely, if in the mood for a dick move - send to someone else. The smell is weirdly offensive - like glue, but with hay and grass and corn. And some sticky sweetness. I’m usually predisposed to like low alcohol beers like these. A perverse palate cleanser for masochists?

Bottle green, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours rather pale yellowish, hazy - cloudy in the texture of the body. Body carbonation is soft and mild, the head is very poor, mediocre, very small and quickly decreasing, no lacing, minimal almost fully diminishing head.
Aroma: Initially crbonation nose, some mineral accents, later on fainting, very weak and also mediocre aroma, nothing interesting is felt, almost non existant and very hard to distinguish or describe. Maybe some hints of oilyness and metal, strange.
Flavour: First impression is wattery, than some old dust and very weak crystalized honey. Your tongue becomes parched and dry a few sips. Generally neither totally bad nor repulsive, but in fact poor. The sensation after drinking it is a kind of heavy stomach in a way like you have drunk half a liter of water not a beer, but all in all good Pale Lager to dine with or to drink quickly in a hot day. Very easy going. The overall impression is not that bad. It’s steel a beer. Finish duration is short.
Palate: Body is very light, texture is definitely wattery, carbonation is soft on palate. Finish feel is almost non existant.
After more then 4 years the beer came to my hands again. Now it has more intensive taste, it is far more sticky sweet in a nasty unbearable way, hell lot of hay here , some grass, paper glue, some dust, rancid fat, sweetish bread, corn, some rust, parched on palate, sourish - sticky - cloying stuff. Dull Pale Lager even worse when it got warmer. Totally uneasy going.
