COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imperial Cascadian Dark Ale
Imperial Cascadian is the NW style of this brew. This is a very well balanced, extremely hoppy black ale. It is very reminiscent of a winter ale. Armored fist is a collaboration beer brewed with the good ole boys from Three Floyd’s Brewing out of Chicago.

From growler filled at Boneyard. Wonderful taste, and I didn’t know about the 3 Floyds connection until I viewed this beer’s ratings. No wonder they have a couple of Dark Lord Day posters in the tasting room. A truly wonderful quaff from a great brewery!

Dark brown color. Clear. Two-fingered, bubbley head with good retention. Aroma is cinnamon, vanilla and resin. Slight peanut butter. Smells clean. Taste piney and sweet. Medium-bodied. Average carbonation. Slightly drawn out bitter finish. Reminds me of a christmas tree. Sticky feel on palate. As much as this reminds me of the winter season i wish it was closer to christmas Lol.

Deep amber to copper coloured with a creamy off white head. Aromas of caramel, resin, hints of bitter chocolate, fruits and spruce/pine develop. Softly carbonated with a rather crisp, slick and smooth texture offering a medium-full body. Lightly sweet building up a nice hoppy resinous fruit punch. Lasting finish, drying out.
