Pint at "b2" Taphouse in Salem. $4.00 Dark brown beer..ruby hints around the edge, small tan head..it goes fast Dark chocolate,semi-bitter coffee aromas, small hint of floral hop very small. Nice. .Taste similar to the aroma but with milky aspects and no hop. Very smooth stuff. Good smooth mouth feel..goes down a treat. Very nice drinkable porter.

Ok porter, not as rich as some but not lacking either. Fairly complex Malt and hop profiles. Finished light bittersweet coffee...

Thicken this up and then we’re talking. Potential to be great but right now just good. It’s pretty light in colour and body for the style but the flave-erooski is quite fine. Burnt bread, some licorice, caramel and dark chocolate all come out to be smelled and tasted at the Porter party. But palate stayed home to hang out with his Dark Lager pals.

Draught at Brews Almighty, Everett
Dark color, almost black, with creamy head. Some cream, roasted malts, cardboard, vanilla, and only a hint of chocolate.
It has a tired feeling.

Draught @ The Burgundian:   Nearly black, a very deep dark brown with deep cola hues, thin to moderate frothy tannish head, sparce lacing.   Roasted malt nose, faint chocolate, a bit ashy.   Pale roasted malts up front, like the nose a little chocolate, with a touch of ashy campfire on the backside.   A light yet flavorful porter.   Low bitterness.   Feels almost like more of an Imperial Schwarzbier instead of a Porter.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   A little milk stout like on the finish.   Lingering roast, ash, and slightly sweet bakers chocolate.   Not bad, very slight tart aspect after the finish.

Poured from tap to glass. Dark black with off-white head. Great carbonation and head lingers well. Aroma is roasted malt, burnt sugars, fruity hops, citrus, and pine. Body is medium-light with a great mouthfeel from the carbonation. Initial malt sweetness but well-rounded and finished with hop bitterness and slight astrigentness from roasted malts. Overall, this is a great brew from Boneyard.

Taster on draught at Boneyard. Opaque black color. Coffee and roasted malt aroma. Taste is black coffee, with a lot of roasted malts and light grassy hops. Dark and full-bodied but not heavy.

Tap at Boneyard, Bend, 23/05/13. Listed in the brewery as 4.4% ABV. Light black with a good sized tan head. Nose is light roast, liqourice, touch of smoke. Taste comprises light roast malt, mineral bite, dark toffee, biscuit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bitter roast in the finish. Decent.
