Taster at the brewery. Light haze amber. Soapy quick head. Slight peppery aroma and a little kick for an amber. Nice variation on the style. Clean palatte

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Slabtown - Pours clear brownish / amber with an off-white head. The aroma has smooth nutty sweet malt and just a hint of hops. It has a medium smooth body with prickly carbonation at the end. The taste starts off somewhat sweet and nutty and there is a syrupy aspect. The finsh has a bit of earthy hops, but still malt forward. Fair amber.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A not unenjoyable copper quaff. I wish the palate was a little thicker, it did have a pretty nice-ass taste to it. Rich caramel and toasty malts, a bit of leather and quite mild hoppery with a citrus leaning. A good one but not a killer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at Brews Almighty, Everett, 5.5% ABV
Cloudy amber color with creamy head. The aroma is moderately hoppy, a bit fruity. The mouthfeel is soft, not too dry, with some caramel flavor and good hopping, mild resins and light fruitiness.
Nice but not impressive.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Lighter amber pour, barely off-white head, ok lace. Nose is toasty, sweet bread and biscuit. Flavor is orange marmalade, delicate red apple esters, finish is toasty honey whole wheat bread and biscuit. Pleasant grainy finish lingers. Really balanced and drinkable, though a bit more simplistic and less full bodied than better examples.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Copper amber pour, white head. Aroma of toast, caramel, and even some chocolate - a lot of flavor here! Toast, biscuit, lightly sweet, malty flavors abound. Good lacing, very little bitterness in the finish. medium body, goes down quick and easy. One of the best ambers I’ve had, actually.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
A somewhat sweeter offering than I’m used to with boneyard. Caramel up front, with a nice hoppy finish. I’m definitely diggin’ this beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from tap to glass. Clear amber...almost red hue with slightly off-white head. Aroma is malty with hints of caramel, roast, citrus, pine, grapefruit. Taste is slightly sweet initially then finishes bitter from the roast malt and the hops. CO2 sharpness brings out the hops at the end and you are left with a citrus essence that lingers with essence of grapefruits. Mouthfeel is nice and light for an amber ale. Almost more of a "red" than an amber, in my opinion...and a bit hoppier than your typical amber. Overall, this is a great brew from Boneyard. I really enjoyed it.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very hoppy for just a simple Amber Ale. It was very good also. On tap at Pegasus Pizza in downtown Eugene, Oregon.
