A malty, red ale with a subtle hop profile-perfect for the fall season. Bring out your inner diablo and get hopped up on Diablo Rojo!!!!!

Copper amber pour, white head. Aroma of toast, caramel, and even some chocolate - a lot of flavor here! Toast, biscuit, lightly sweet, malty flavors abound. Good lacing, very little bitterness in the finish. medium body, goes down quick and easy. One of the best ambers Iíve had, actually.

A somewhat sweeter offering than Iím used to with boneyard. Caramel up front, with a nice hoppy finish. Iím definitely digginí this beer.

Poured from tap to glass. Clear amber...almost red hue with slightly off-white head. Aroma is malty with hints of caramel, roast, citrus, pine, grapefruit. Taste is slightly sweet initially then finishes bitter from the roast malt and the hops. CO2 sharpness brings out the hops at the end and you are left with a citrus essence that lingers with essence of grapefruits. Mouthfeel is nice and light for an amber ale. Almost more of a "red" than an amber, in my opinion...and a bit hoppier than your typical amber. Overall, this is a great brew from Boneyard. I really enjoyed it.

Very hoppy for just a simple Amber Ale. It was very good also. On tap at Pegasus Pizza in downtown Eugene, Oregon.

Tap at Boneyard. Pours a clear orange to amber. Medium, nice foam. Nose is caramel and toffee. Taste is biscuit, mild butter, maple, brown sugar. Thicker mouthfeel. Very nice for this overlooked style.

On tap at Boneyard tasting room. Amber. Aroma is half malt, half spicy zest. Hops are downplayed. Carbonation is on the prickly side, while body is on the watery side. Flavor is a bit of grain and light caramel transitioning into a long clean fiery burn. I love it! Easily the best pepper beer Iíve had. Made by combining their regular amber with a small amount of everclear infused with habenero peppers. Great!!

Sample at the tap room. Clear reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel and hops. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, hops and a hint of roasted nuts. The finish is sweet with a roasty malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draught @ Brouwerís Cafť:   Amber with a slight copper hue, moderate frothy white head, spotty lacing.   Malty nose, slightly mealy, otherwise a bunch of biscuity malts.   Almost a slight hint of cocoa in there, especially on the tongue.   This is a rich Amber Ale.   Low hop, well at least not as pronounced as the malts.   Body and mouthfeel are full to moderate.   Clean finish, malty, and fairly biscuity.   Seems to be more of an Amber than most in that its not overly hopped, and in fact the hops take a back seat to the malts.   Enjoyable, and slightly different with the slight cocoa in there.

On tap at Slabtown in Portland. Pours a reddy brown color without much head. Slight moldy flavor, and not a lot of anything else.

Pours an reddish amber color with a thick off white and great lacing. Smells of pine, grapefruit, caramel, and sweet malt. Tastes of the same things in the smell with a good hop presence for a red ale. Mouthfeel is heavy and surupy with pretty good carbonatiom. This is a pretty good introduction to Boneyard beer although I hear their Ipaís are amazing. Itís a solid red ale for sure.
