3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 5000 (4967) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - APR 26, 2013
Draught @ Brouwer’s Café:   Amber with a slight copper hue, moderate frothy white head, spotty lacing.   Malty nose, slightly mealy, otherwise a bunch of biscuity malts.   Almost a slight hint of cocoa in there, especially on the tongue.   This is a rich Amber Ale.   Low hop, well at least not as pronounced as the malts.   Body and mouthfeel are full to moderate.   Clean finish, malty, and fairly biscuity.   Seems to be more of an Amber than most in that its not overly hopped, and in fact the hops take a back seat to the malts.   Enjoyable, and slightly different with the slight cocoa in there.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Bule (182) - California, USA - MAR 28, 2013
On tap at Slabtown in Portland. Pours a reddy brown color without much head. Slight moldy flavor, and not a lot of anything else.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 trujahwarrior (267) - Monroe, Washington, USA - FEB 12, 2013
Pours an reddish amber color with a thick off white and great lacing. Smells of pine, grapefruit, caramel, and sweet malt. Tastes of the same things in the smell with a good hop presence for a red ale. Mouthfeel is heavy and surupy with pretty good carbonatiom. This is a pretty good introduction to Boneyard beer although I hear their Ipa’s are amazing. It’s a solid red ale for sure.

Tap @ Parkway. Hazy, light amber pour with a short, off-white head leaving moderate lace. Nose is lightly malty with some pine hops. Medium-light body with moderate carbonation. Rye toast, pine, almonds and some yeast. Finish is grapefruit and pumpernickel. A solid amber from an up and coming brewery.

Good offering. I liked it. Balanced hops with malt to bring up the other side. It is good in a simple sort of way, not too strong in any one area, works well all around.
