Pours an reddish amber color with a thick off white and great lacing. Smells of pine, grapefruit, caramel, and sweet malt. Tastes of the same things in the smell with a good hop presence for a red ale. Mouthfeel is heavy and surupy with pretty good carbonatiom. This is a pretty good introduction to Boneyard beer although I hear their Ipa’s are amazing. It’s a solid red ale for sure.

Pours a chill hazed amber red on tap with fluffy off-white head that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma of caramel malt, bready notes, and overlying earthy citrus hop notes. Taste is more hop forward, but a nice balance, grapefruit hop notes with subtle caramel earth. Really nice for the style.

Flight pour on tap at the brewery tap room (Bend, Or). Pours a nice lucid amber hue, a touch reddish copper hue with mellow hhaze, frothy offwhite head atop with solid lacing, thicker film and good ringer laces nicely. Aromas are carmelized, bitter hops and earth meet toast, biscuit and citric appeal. Initial is medium bodied, a touch lighter with sufficient firmer bitterness to support that subtle malty load. Grapefruit lemon and florals meet some biscuity toast, carmelized malts and earth. Backend shows a nice pithy bitter appeal, firmer florals come back and sweet in to save the day. Solid Red albeit a style I don’t necessarily dig. A fresher fun hop profile is the hero it deserves and gets.

decent hoppy strong red ale - better than your average amber, but not as good as their IPAs. medium body, malty floral aroma with a light citrus kick in the flavor.

Taster at the brewery. Light haze amber. Soapy quick head. Slight peppery aroma and a little kick for an amber. Nice variation on the style. Clean palatte

On tap at Slabtown - Pours clear brownish / amber with an off-white head. The aroma has smooth nutty sweet malt and just a hint of hops. It has a medium smooth body with prickly carbonation at the end. The taste starts off somewhat sweet and nutty and there is a syrupy aspect. The finsh has a bit of earthy hops, but still malt forward. Fair amber.

A not unenjoyable copper quaff. I wish the palate was a little thicker, it did have a pretty nice-ass taste to it. Rich caramel and toasty malts, a bit of leather and quite mild hoppery with a citrus leaning. A good one but not a killer.

Draught at Brews Almighty, Everett, 5.5% ABV
Cloudy amber color with creamy head. The aroma is moderately hoppy, a bit fruity. The mouthfeel is soft, not too dry, with some caramel flavor and good hopping, mild resins and light fruitiness.
Nice but not impressive.
