3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at Toronado as part of the Boneyard night. One of the cool breweries I had the luxury to visit in my days, and I can’t think of many breweries I’m more proud to support. Reddish orange pour with a fizz ring head. Sour earthy funk aroma that I couldn’t perfectly describe if I tried. Maybe cherry too? Flavor is more funk than sour. Like a mild Flanders. Good beer overall, but lacking partially in a few key sour beer areas. Sourness scale 3/10. Pretty good.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Brown pour, light beige head. Flavors of berries, sour funk, apples, some malt flavors, not overly sour but funky and pretty fun to try.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sample @ GABF 13. Pours a cloudy brownish beer with a small off white head on top. Aroma has tart touches, funky cherries and oak. Flavour is quite sour and full. Long lasting, very dry finish. Very decent surprise.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap @ Uber. Pours purplish brown with no head. Aroma is tart berry sour. Taste is thin pale malt, mild earthy sour, sweetish finish. Tasty mild sour. Nothing crazy, but love to see Boneyard getting into sours.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz. pour. Pours blackish-plum. No head, no lacing. Flavor is roasted sourness. Strange. And awesome. Tartness builds as you hold it in your mouth. A little rubbery is what stands out to me, but I like it, a lot. Who knew rubber could taste so good? A blending of two styles that I’d never guess at...

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap @ Portland Fruit Beer Fest’s Buzz Tent... Poured dark brown with a bubbly head that dissipated immediately. Phenolic, plastic, and scotch-like. Thin, watery palate. Smokey, copper kettle, tartness and acidity. Finished with grains, plastic, and sweetness. Off the mark. Bummer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
12 oz. draft at Brouwer’s. Pours a very dark brown with an aroma of malt vinegar, black cherries, peat and licorice. Palate is nice. In the flavor is a direct malt vinegar-type sourness with a backdrop of fruity notes and a little iodine. A little different and very tasty!

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Funky is right about this one. Sour from the beginning, this beer has a reddish purple tint. Cloudy with minimal foam. Strong sour fruit flavors of cherry and raspberry. Leaves a sour film on the tongue. Couldn’t stomach too much of this without a Tums.
