UPDATED: MAR 30, 2016 Its cool but its not what I like in an IPA. I recognize I?m weird when it comes to this style. If I was into IPA I?d love this beer.

Rating #1672 - #CBC2015 Beer 57 - Day 4 - On tap at Bailey’s Taproom w/ Ferris. ours a darker amber, with a bubbly tan head. Aroma is citrusy, soft fruits predominant. Taste is extremely hoppy, lots of cool citrus notes - mild tropical, mild pine, mild orange zest. Huge toffee, caramel, pastry dough malt bill adds a pile of sweetness, zesty hops and sharp bitterness. A lovely DIPA.

Draught. Pours a hazy brown color with a moderate head on there. Nose is heavy on the resin and would pair well with pot. Taste is oddly sweet and not bitter enough.

Pours a chill hazed golden orange on tap with fluffy off-white head that dissipates slowly to leave good lace. Aroma of big tropical and citrus hop notes with bready grain and a slight hint of caramalt. Taste is pretty much all hops, tropical fruit, melon, stone fruit, but malt is there to balance it out. Booze is incredibly well hidden, crisp and substantial, good carbonation. A great double IPA!

Flight pour on tap at the brewery tap room (Bend, Or). Pours a nice glowing amber huamber hue, decent glow, mellow haze and frothy offwhite creamy head. A decent ringer, nice lacing. Aromas are fruity, bitter, pithy. Subtle sweetness, big fruity citric and tropical appeal throws bubblegum, mango and tropical appeal. Nice, deep, fruity and bitter. Initial is medium bodied, big fruity tropical life. Pineapple, lots of melon, tropical melange. Some citric appeal, some fruity appeal, lively melange of fuzzy and fruity tropical life. Delicious stuff, gummy without being sweet or big in body. Crisper, bitter backend and finish with more melon, pineapple and tropical melange. Great flavor, a touch flat on the bitterness but great stuff. Well done

Poured from a growler on 10.31.15. A: Red grapefruit, caramel, pine, and orange cream. A: Hazy amber body with lots of bubbles. 2 finger fluffy white head. T: Red grapefruit, pineapple, orange cream, mango, and caramel dominate. Pine is subtle. P: Creamy smooth. Medium to heavy mouthfeel with some resin. O: It’s super easy to drink and very juicy, but with balance. I can see why people freak out over this one.

Translucent gold, with a bit of white head. Aroma and taste are floral and sweet to match its bitterness. Very nice beer. $3.75/pint ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
