4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
Towards the end of the night I wanted a light beer to ease me down. I picked this one, 9% alcohol. Most excellent.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Reykjavik Beer Festival. Surprisingly this one only available for a very short timeframe. Amber with a small head, massive pine in the aroma. Taste is very piney with some sticky sweetness and huge afterburn of hops. Very extreme dipa.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Imperial Bottle Shop and Taproom. Big citrusy nose, blooms into berries. Clear bright amber color. Massive caramel initial, peaches, overripe apples / some pretty rough hops, tobacco in mid / finishes with a burst of maltiness, tropical fruit sweetness. Medium-heavy body. Very very tasty. Maintains fruitiness throughout. Maybe a touch too sweet. But I’d have another.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tap at Pine Box. Big citrus (grapefruit, tangelo, pineapple) and pine aroma. Massively hopped, but held together with a solid malt background. Chewy, fuller-bodied DIPA. Great dry, bitterness and strong, warming alcohol punch. Long finish. Very impressed.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
I’ve had this both in draught and out of a growler. Both times in a pint glass, and I have to say, this beer may not be perfect, but if it isn’t, it’s as close to it as I’ve ever had! I could stick my whole head into the top of a glass and sniff the aroma for 5 minutes before even taking a sip! It’s phenomenal!
This is probably the best overall beer I’ve ever had. I saw one review saying that the guy had a sample of this next to a sample of DFH’s 90 minute and chose this one. I’d do the same, and that’s saying a lot!
This is a fairly regional beer, as it’s not bottled or canned, only kegged. If you’re ever in the PNW and get a chance at it, do NOT pass it up!

Tap, don't remember much as I had it beers deep into the day, but sampled next to 90 minute and took this one.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JAN 21, 2014 Pint glass from draught. Pours amber with big white head. Good lacing. Big hoppy floral aroma. Floral/citrus taste with a big hop nose, a little sweet, and a pleasant hoppy bitterness. This is a great beer that I’ve had a few times and always love to see. They’re now limiting sales to on draught only, no growler fills. Really? I’d love to take some home with me.

Hazy amber color heavy lacing. Floral hop aroma. Sips full and bitter w/ slight caramel sugar malt sweetness balance. Full bodied and slightly creamy throughout. High abv is well blended in. This is a top notch beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Growler... Mostly-clear yellow pour with a small, creamy, white head. The hop-driven nose is musky, dank and fruity – apricot or peach or pluot or all three. Medium to full-bodied and lightly creamy with dancing carbonation. The flavor and finish are both bitter and biting. Growler courtesy of ctipping!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Growler poured earlier today from Chuck’s Hop Shop
Light copper ale with soapy yellowish foam etching the surface. Grapefruit, mango, lemon peel, a bit of alchohol, some catty character and biscuity malts in the nose. Flavor follows suit with a good punch of bitterness, balanced with sweet, wet malts and plenty of juicy fruits in there. Although not overly bitter, the beer is also a little sweet with alcohol. Slight hint of acetone on the finish. Medium bodied with lower carb (I think this related to the growler fill method used here) and a resinous finish. This has all the main components of a world class DIPA, but just needs some fine tuning in the alcohol, ester and overall weaving of the flavors. I would order again in a heart beat and will likely finish the growler tonight with a friend.

From haggerty growler. Pours light amber with a decent off-white head and a very pleasant sweet citrus aroma. There is a hearty caramel malt flavor that starts sweet then turns quite bitter.
