Pours amber with decent head...little to no lacing. Fairly hoppy with grapefruit and citrus both in aroma and flavor. Just okay for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 madvike (2077) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 20, 2012
On tap at the Cheese Bar - Pours hazy amber with a thin white head. Nose is citrus with a little grass and nice sweet malt base. Taste is the same, nice citrus, pine and grass, with a clean sweet malt base. A little malty for my tastes, but still a solid beer.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 PapaSkeetSkeet (678) - Corvallis, Oregon, USA - AUG 17, 2012
Gold, bright with white head. Aroma is citrus, fresh clean pine. Flavor is lots of orange/grapefruit, some pine, bits of grass and lemon. The malt contributes some grain/hay. So far, I’ve been impressed with boneyard’s IPA’s for not over bittering them. Even when the beer warms, the bitterness is still overshadowed by the hop flavor.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 hopscotch (8215) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 12, 2012
Growler... Pours cloudy and light amber with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The aroma is a menagerie of dank hops - musk, earth and armpit. Medium to full-bodied and raspy with tickling carbonation. Lots of hop flavor and a decent level of bitterness, but surprisingly well-balanced. Tongue-numbing finish. Big time thanks to landhoney for sharing this brew!
4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 DavoleBomb (1389) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 10, 2012
Poured into a snifter.
3.5 A: Lightly hazed light orange color. Small white frothy head.
5.0 S: Smells amazing. Intense tropical fruitiness with pineapple leading the pack and mango, papaya, and melon coming after.
4.0 T: Taste isn’t the same intensity as the nose. Fruits mentioned are still there, just not as much of them. Light yeasty breadiness and light neutral maltiness.
4.5 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Reasonably creamy and super smooth.
4.5 D: Damn good beer with an incredible nose.
Serving type: growler

Draft at the Pine Box. Hazy orange-brown, mild foam head. Rich citrus nose. Hops, mango juice, tropical. Smooth, medium sticky body. Bittering is sweet and fruity. Awesome fresher hop IPA, with one of the best aromas I can remember. Super tasty.
