Tasted on February 16, 2013: A: Light amber color. Head of foam non-existent(shitty pour). S: Slight citrusy hop smell. Mostly malty. T: Medium hopiness. Slight citrus notes and pine notes in the end. M: Leaves a very enjoyable aftertaste that I can’t describe. Medium heaviness on the tongue. O: An alright beer, but nothing to brag about and barely and hop character. Serving type: on-tap

Growler from Gravity beer market. Clear golden pour with moderate head giving lots of tropical fruit and hop aroma. Pineapple, peach, orange flavors. This is a hoppy beer. Finish is a bit tangy rather than bitter. Overall a very solid and balanced IPA.

Draught. Pours a mostly clear light amber color with a small white head on there. Nose has some really nice grapefruit and resin notes coming off it. Taste is moderately bitter, light and refreshing. And tastes pleasantly fresh, too. Very nice drink.

On tap at Slabtown - Pours clear amber with a white head. The aroma has grapefruit, tropical fruits, toasty malt - very clean, balanced and pleasing. It has a medium body that is smooth with mild carbonation. The flavor begins with smooth caramel malt, tropical / citric hops and some pine. The finish is very balanced and mainly piny hops. Really enjoyable.

R.P.M. is an instant classic. This is sort of Bend’s go-to local’s IPA for people who love IPA, Boneyard’s most popular pour. It’s a ruddy copper tipped with ivory. Floral, spruce and tropical funk floats to nostril town. Taste is like a hopped up pineapple and tangerine juiced that had a loaf of fresh honey brown-bread thrown into the mix. Great palate, not too jittery on the ol’ carbonation and really smooth and full.
