Draught @ Mikkeller Bar Victoriagade. Pours deep reddish golden with a small creamy offwhite head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly malty and slightly fruity with caramel, biscuits, sweet dark bread, grapefruit juice, mango, moist grass, pine needles, moist soil, lemon zest and hints of red apples. Taste is sweet, bitter, slightly malty and slightly fruity. Mouthfeel is round, tiny astringent and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with caramel, biscuits, grapefruit, mango, red apples, moist grass, pine needles and lemon zest. Not a fan of amber ales but this is a solid beer.

Bigger Copenhagen bimble with Colin, Ronnie, Reuben and Alex. Mikkeller Vik. Keg. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is pretty dry and is finely crisp. Thin malts, slightly sweet. Trace of wood, then orange peel and bright tangerine. Little hop spice. Dry finish. Dry but tasty.

Tap. Clear light copper color. Huge size, creamy bubbly head, stays. Looks nice. Grapefruit, malty, sweet, caramel, spicy hops in aroma. Grapefruit, juicy, malty, very faint strawberry, caramel in taste. Juicy, malty mouthfeel. Caramel and spicy hops in aftertaste. Soft carbonation. Bit boring.

Tap (Speakeasy, Tallinn)
Slightly messy sweet hoppy aroma. Nice deep orangey red, small head. Nice rich caramelly taste. Pleasant hops, a bit stinky and sticky in some sips. Palate smooth, a little slick, pleasant carbonation cuts through some of that. Some pleasant bitterness in the finish, but a bit dirty. Not as fresh as it could have been, and a bit rough perhaps because of that due to hop-fade. A bit too sweet for FatPhils.
