Draft at bonfire. Pours a caramel color with a light white head. Nose is light hopps. taste is raunchy caramel, very syrupy (the bad kind) and a semi bitterness that seems unwanted and unwaranted.

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2005 On tap at brewery: Looks nice, transparent deep orange with a nice lasting off white head which begins to leave some nice lacing. Carbonation looks good. Aromas were faint hops first, but soon became lots of caramel, all caramel. Flavor is just aweful, at first I just thought it was too bitter (and I like hops) but then it turned to an terrible sourness. Finishes even more sour, killing anything else that may be there. Mouthfeel is overly dry. Just not well done, worst IPA I have had.

Tap at Detroit Brewfest. Medium amber in color. Off white head. Aroma is hoppy, some malt and a little musty. Taste is mostly hop, somewhat earthy, decent malt.
