Bottle. Pours cloudy deep golden colour with a small foamy off-white head. Herbal and fruity notes, sweetness, cereal malt and some sugary notes in the aroma.

On tap at the Brewpub. Milchig trübe goldene Farbe, ordentliche weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch getreidig, leicht hopfig, floral.

Has a hazy, sunny yellow color with a small, white head. Reluctant, floral, dank hops with a white bread malt foundation define the aromas. Tastes of wheat with velvet, bready malts and some underlying hops. Has a crisp citrus note to it, accentuating the bready, dough malts. Very clean, refreshing, with a decent hoppy note in the finish, separating this from the usual german tv-beer.

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2014 Beer from my place of study. I think it is better than his reputation. Especially on warm summer days highly drinkable and refreshing. Better than most of the Kölsch. I would drink it again.

UPDATED: MAY 25, 2014 0,2L Draught @source, Tour de Rheinländle GoldCard 02/2014. Pours a green-yellow Molke with eggwhite foam. Aroma is indeed spectacular Kloschüssel, baby diaper, pregnant egg white proteins, gose light. Taste manages to make amends somewhat with pleasant citrus, quick hop prickle. Light and brewpub sessionable, flushes straight through, turbo finish. This has to be the worst Gose on the Bonn-yonder side of Kölsch. (Looking forward to sampling from bottle). // Rerate bottled 05/2014, (bb07/2014) drinks a lot more like a standard bottled Kölsch, both with the more agreeable crisp fruity malt notes, a hint of that citrus prickle, loads of green apple lemonade - and unfortunately loads of that late sticky wet cardboard superceding quite decent lingering citrus & mineral hop finish. Spritzy carbonation. Still, a 33cl bottle far from leaves you wanting more... + 0.2/-/+0.1/-0.1 . Go for bottled should you ever get the choice.

Draft in brewpub. Nice glass. Hazy yellow color, white head. Grainy aroma. Taste was little bit sour, little bit grainy, no hops. Medium dry finish.

Ot tap at the brewpub. The beer is nice cloudy and very pale, nearly white. Nice head. The nose is disgusting - the beer stinks! If I would have smelled longer, I would have gotten sick… The beer itself starts neutral, slightly yeasty. The mainpart can best be compared to river water, brackish water…. something like that. Slightly like Witbier. Old brie. The aftertaste is medium, slightly obtrusive.
--> in direct comparison to the "Weihnachtsbier" this one is disgusting! Not drinkable at all! --> 2/10/1/2

Flasche 33cl. Naturtrüb, wenig Schaum. Die obergärige Hefe verursacht fruchtige Aromen, die aber sehr im Hintergrund bleiben. Schwache Hopfung. Süffig, aber kein anhaltender Nachgeschmack. Im Nachhall wässrig.

On tap at the brewpub. Strange, cloudy pale yellow with a rich white foam, looks a bit like banana shake. Did they misunderstand my German? The aroma is citric, but also some grassy hops. It hets better when inside the mouth with more grassy and spicy hops appearing. The acidity is not completely off the mark either. Don’t want to be too harsh ( how often am I in Bonn, anyway), but this is not good even for a kölsch
