2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 pivnizub (7228) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - OCT 15, 2011
Tap: Pale golden, hoppy-fruity nose, small + lacy head, some malt in the aroma, light bodied and a bit fizzy, mild bitter-sweet finish, a tinge of cabbage in the aftertaste. Drinkable, but pretty boring.......
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Koelschtrinker (7038) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 21, 2011
Ein fruchtiger Geschmack gesellt sich schon am Anfang hinzu und weicht auch im Nachgeschmack nicht. Insgesamt jedoch ist es teils ein wenig wässrig, in anderen Teilen dafür jedoch umso würziger.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 fiulijn (10383) - Como, ITALY - JUN 6, 2011
Draught at the brauhaus Cloudy blond color; generous head. It has a nice malt aroma, mild but partially crispy, and with some hops and bread. The flavor, although mild, is also malty, with a trace of cereals and grass; the mouthfeel is round (as it can get for a Kölsch). Correct bitterness. But the final is a bit too weak. Quite good.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Travlr (5379) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUN 24, 2010
An unfiltered kölsch! Wow. Kölsch is not my favorite style, but this one was the tastiest I have tried. Cloudy light straw colored, big fluffy off white head, massive lacing. Aroma bubblegum, vanilla, lemon. Low carbonation, soft body, taste of lemon, white pepper. Slight sourness, especially at the finish. Worth seeking out.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 yespr (22163) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - NOV 12, 2009
From tap at the brewpub, again madness during carneval. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is zesty towards light mouldy yeasty. Smooth malty note and light frity hoppy too. Fruity and bitter flavoured finish with a light toasted malt base. Endsdry and bitter yet with a little remaining sweetness.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 turbothy (967) - Bonn, GERMANY - APR 3, 2009
Draught at the Brauhaus. Grand foamy head, and a funny acidic aroma. Unclear piss yellow colour. Würzig and refreshing flavour. Quaffable, but may be an acquired taste.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 MiP (11783) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JAN 7, 2009
Draught at the brewpub. The appearance is cloudy yellow with a small, tight white head. Weak citric aroma, like a good Helles. The flavour supports my first impression, a good, decent, clean beer with a little citrus and yeast flavours.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 voota (765) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JAN 21, 2008
At the brewpub. Hazy golden with medium white head. Soft fruity aroma with a touch of yeast and some sharp german hops. Mild body with some pretty heavy carbonation. soft fruity flavour, perhaps a little overrun by the carbonation. Some grassy notes come through late. Good enough, but the weizen was better.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 asheft (2072) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 14, 2007
[on tap at brewpub]
German hops aroma, but a little tough to get in the smokey bar, with lemony notes. Cloudy, almost electric yellow with nice lacing and a flanel cover. Quite sweet and without contrpuntal bitterness. Still, nice base malt flavour with perceptible hops. Fresh, but still wanting more hops bitterness. Medium body and sticky sweet. This beer grew on me after a while, though.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JorisPPattyn (6725) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - SEP 19, 2005
Draught Fully hazy, like pineapple juice; very sticky and creamy, cream-coloured head, tenacious. Freshly hopped worts nose, green-beer like. Sweet worts, quite a bit underfermented, green-beer like; hops seem to come as an afterthought, good German hops, but not a lot of them. Full bodied, typical grist slickness from a fermenting beer. Needs 3-4 days of extra lagering, at least. Could turn out quite well, with a bit of patience.
Correct style designation would be " Wies", = unfiltered Kölsch
