Autumn Brew Review 2012. A fair amount of hops in this tripel. Sweet with yeast, but lacks the complexity of the best tripels. Well carbonated, and dark gold color. Solid tripel.

750ml bottle from Atom, thanks Adam! Pours a cloudy, golden-yellow-orange colored body with a thin, fizzy, off-white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, bready and grainy, pale malts with a good amount of yeasty spices and lemony, floral fruits. White pepper, a light coriander, and some apricot notes as well. Flavor is similar. Fairly fruity and spicy up front with some lemon, apricot, pepper, and coriander with a touch of banana phenol. Slightly sweet, bready and grainy, pale maltiness to balance in the middle before this gets a tad thin in a dry finish. Light bitterness with a nice mix of spice, fruit, and lightly sweetened pale malts before leaving a fairly lengthy aftertaste with some alcohol warmth. Medium-light body and a lively carbonation. Overall, not a bad tripel. Nice balance between the spices, fruit, and malts with a pleasant dry finish, but just a tad thin at the end. Not overly complex, but enjoyable.

Pours a hazed yellow color with a white head. Heavy on the banana and yeast aromas. A nice spiciness, pale malt and bread, maybe a little candi sugar. Sort of watery, though. The flavor is a touch watery, but the flavors are still good. Spices and banana along with yeast and sweet bready malt. A bit of pear and sweet apple in there, too.

On tap at SPSBF. Pours a hazy pale gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grains with a bit of caramel and toffee backed by light fruit. Flavor is a bit lighter with sweet grains and only a hint of caramel with hints of grassiness, belgian yeast and light fruits.
