COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Yule smell the holiday spices before it hits the glass. Yule savor the rich, toasted malts and drink deep in the spirit of the season. Then YULE call a cab. This 12% bottle-conditioned ale is our first seasonal brew and a hearty thank you for your support in 2012. We hope Yule love it as much as we do.

Bomber. Deep cola pour with a big frothy head that clings well. Dark fruit, sweet and rich. Decent brew but way overpriced.

Bottle from South Lyndale Liquors (Minneapolis, Minnesota, 23/11/12)
Spice, brown sugar, and caramel on the nose. Pours a hazy medium-brown color with a medium tan head. Taste is slightly sweet, slightly bitter, and some spiciness. Medium bodied, thin texture, an average carbonation, and a boozy finish. It’s decent.

UPDATED: JAN 23, 2013 Have to agree with DaleAlz this is overpriced crappie beer. Too much syrupy flavors. Definitely high in abv it burns like rubbing alcohol (that could be the extreme spices). I have liked many Boom island beers but this is a huge miss for me. I can guess I won’t be missing their beers in the future. I do not pour beer out often or not finish a bottle...

DalzAle (1736) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - NOV 22, 2012
Bottle. Dark brown pour, a little carbonation and a conglomerate of thanksgiving spices. Flavor is thick overly sweet mess of C-grade brown sugar, heavy malt, and way too much spice. There’s nothing good to say about this beer, other than it doesn’t taste like it’s 12% ABV. But if I wanted a terrible high alcohol beer, I’d pick up a 40oz of brain melt malt liquor for $3 (and not waste the money on this). Almost angry that they demanded $15/bottle for this crap. Learn something from other up an coming local breweries, don’t overprice your beers and expect us to chase after the "new thing." Focus on making good cost effective beers first before demanding ridiculous prices.
