3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle from Dan Murphy’s. Murky, hazy and very earthy in the nose. Has that familiar dry ginger burn on the palate.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pastel, palest yellow and cloudy with lively carbonation. Light, spicy and doughy ginger bread nose with a hint of nutmeg, cinnamon and what seems like juniper berries. No spice but there is heat from the ginger which dominates the palate amongst a clammy, sugary sweetness. Body is light but it has that natural doughyness I see in most ginger beers. Pear drops come through in the aftertaste and lingers sweetly on the palate. A little too soda, a little less beer. Not my cup of tea as even hours after tasting it the sugars are still there.
