If you can see through the yeast particles, it’s probably clear orange brown. Aroma of brown sugar, caramel, yeast, raisin-bread. Sweet alcohol and sour sirupy taste, unbalanced. Strange bitter palate.

Bottled(250ml). –Amber coloured, medium sized white head, sourish caramel and cardboard nose. Sourish mild cherry and stale fruity aroma with notes of orange. Acidic finish. Not so good faro. 5.0%ABV

Bottle. Tasted like flat coke mixed with caramel syrup. Quite stale in the mouthfeel. No sip in the flavour, felt quite dull. This one wasn’t so good.

Bottle. Pours a caramel-brownish body with no head. The aroma isn’t enlightening to say the least - pretty bland, sweet cherry and raspberry along with sugar. Very sweet, mineral softness, sticky and artificial. Syrupy mouthfeel. Not good. Sampled at the Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation on May 28, 2006.

Dark amber color. Strange aroma, like common vinegar, and a touch of sweetness. Very poor taste, thin, with a bad end. Not sweet at all; too bitter.

Vintage 1998: (I don’t think faros are meant to age this long!) Very thin bodied, no head, weak in all regards. Complete wast of time.

Bottled: Oh boy. This is not good. Hazy amber coloured. Dense little beige head. Pours with loads of sediment. Honey aroma. Flavour is "old". Has a cloying fruity sweetness, that dominates all. Dosn’t live long on the palate, and I’m sure happy about that.

Cloudy dark iced tea. Barely an edge head. Zero carbonation. Aroma of balsamic vinegar, Tuscan style, and a sweetened sourness. Watery, flat, tart and barely sweet. Sharply acidic, thin, lifeless and now being introduced to the wonderful world of 4" sewer pipes. Old, infected or a new line of vinegar products?
