not my thing at all, like someone took a gueuze and added sugar packets to it, nice amber color, thought this was going to be interesting at least, but its really a miss unfortunately.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 olio (739) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 8, 2011
25 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, Tampere.
Pours hazy orange colour with minimal head on the sides. Aroma of sugar candy infused ripe fruits, light malts and grass. Flavour of sugar, toffee, light fruits and mild spices. Medium-bodied, sweet as expected and some german beer flavours which I can’t quite figure out.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 laiti (998) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 8, 2011
25 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, BBE 04.02.2012
Aroma feels like a german lager with brown sugar added. Flavour is kind of fresh but still contains loads of brown sugar. Rather thick and sticky for 4% ABV. Way too sweet, but then again isn’t a faro supposed to be?
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Hermod (1476) - Vantaa, FINLAND - OCT 1, 2011
25cl bottle, BBE 07/2012. Poured light brown with a steady, lasting dirty white head. Aroma is vinegar and berries, slight sourness. Flavor has serious amount of sugar, with some light sourness and berries. Quite dry, Aroma ok, but the sugar was too much.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Gary (1012) - London and Rochester, Kent, ENGLAND - SEP 30, 2011
(Bottled) I like Frank Boon’s Lambic catoluge , the regular Frambroise is one of my fave beerz , a beauty with beasty tartiness . Ive never had a Faro , yes repeat ive never had a Faro . This offering is sweet , almost relentlessly jamish , an earthy hop vibe with dryness is a redeming quality . Some nice mild bloody like ’flanders brune’ resembleing notes on the finish .. This would work as an apertife for something complex , it flerts @ having rustic accent...
