2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from grove, huddesfield. Clear deep amber with little head. Aroma of grape, pear and honey. Taste is sweet and not much else. A bit fizzy and with a good oily body. I don’t really.like the sour lambics, and i don’t really like this. So i think I’ll avoid them from now on.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
The successor of Faro Pertotale (since 2008, if I’m not mistaken), hazy brownish amber with loose head; candi sugar sweetness, applish sourishness, raisins, citrus peel with refreshing effect, hint of woodiness in the background, slightly drying sourishness playing with the sugar sweetness. Typical bottled faro: this style is at it best when made fresh, as the tradition requires; but then, this tradition has all but disappeared and you’d have to visit beer festivals or lambic breweries in Belgian to taste a really authentic faro. If inaccessible, this will do fine to get to know the style.<

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Sugar cane aroma. It seems it’s made with sugar-candy. Hard to find the lambic. Quite sweet. Would please lots of people. Though I wouldn’t say I’m a "sweet" guy.
