3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Jeppe (2633) - Ølbutikken, - NOV 20, 2007
Clear deep amber color with a foamy well lasting tanned head. Vinegar sourish aroma with a good woodyness, some cheesy hints and a nice balance between sweet- and sourness. Balsamic sourish flavor backed up by a sweet note of brown sugar. Not too sweet, but very good balanced amount of sugar. Not an easy faro - like most - bot more challenging. A great surprise and probably the best bottled faro I have had. And the faro to put me back on 100% for the style :-)
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 jackl (727) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 8, 2012
Bottle at Scopey’s CBC Tune-Up. Light renal failure brown with no head. The nose is fermented New England-style apple cider, caramelised brown sugar and raisins. The taste is very, very sweet bruised apples. Tangy, sickly golden raisin and sweetener. Light body, quite sticky. Overall, this is way too sweet and unbalanced for me. A little more sour, please!
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Scopey (1659) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 8, 2012
Bottle at my Pre-CBC Tune-Up Tasting. It pours golden amber, with a thin white head. The nose is mostly sweet fruit: melon, pear, tangy apple and raisin. The taste is sugar, apple, pear, melon, sweet raisin, some tanginess and vomit, with a sweet, tangy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not for me! I don’t think I will ever understand this style.....

25cl
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Benjii (2393) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 6, 2012
In bottle. Pours a dark golden brown colour with a thick beige head that dies away quickly. Aroma of apple juice and toffee. Quite sweet with flavours of apples, grapes and just the tiniest hint of lemon. Mild carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Like drinking sweet apple juice.
