75 cL bottle. Pours hazy to pale red with a lacing white head. Light woody raspberry aroma. Medium sweet at first with a light wooden note turning into a light acidic note. Finish is light tart and delicate fruity. Light sulphorish note.

Bottle. [thank you, Ungstrup]
[at Yesprs tuesday tasting]
[vintage 2000]
Pours quite orange amber, a bit hazy. A frothy, small, off-white head on top. Aroma is lightly tart, subdued fruitiness. Fine, very dry mouthfeel. Flavour is pleasingly tart and dry, Very nice fruitiness. Still feels rather fresh. Wonderful.

Bottle. # 400 Belgium [Courtesy of Ungstrup, thanks buddy] Average fizzy white head that mostly diminishing. Muddy reddish brownish colour. Good display of lacework. Aroma of barnyard, soap, perfume, sour fruit and wheat. Over the palate came lovely mix of sour and sweet fruity notes. Full bodied with an average carbonation and dry texture. Moderated sour and sweet flavour. Imagineering sour fruity finish.

Shared by BrianK, 1995 bottle! Hazy amber/brown in color with a small to medium pink head. Aroma is alot of sweet rasberry, with some funk in the background, as well as cobwebs. Taste is sweet initially, and all rasberry, then quickly turns pretty funky and light to moderately sour. hints of basement, yeast , and oak in the flavor.

(750ml bottle) Pours a cloudy reddish body with a small light pinkish head. Acidic aroma of wild raspberries, earthiness, and light oak. Flavor of sweet raspberries, funkiness, and earth with a dry finish.

Update- 95/96 vintage was a bit better but about the same- I got a little more tartness out of the older bottle. - this one shared by BrianK. Thanks. 750 ml bottle 96/97 vintage. Shared with everyone at Spuyten Summer 07. Overlal this one wasnt quite as refined or funky or sour as the Kriek but it was still good. Pours a nice dirty viotel with reddish highlights and a light fizzy head. Aroma is lots of raspberry tarts and jam. red raspberry and herbal notes with some floral hints- some light funky sourness. Funk and sugary raspberry sweetness, not as tart as expected- and dirty wierd funky brett. Light tart finihs. Seemed a bit old and past its prime on the mouthfeel and finish.
