Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 12, 2008 Bottled - vintage 2000 sampled May 2008. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet and acidic with notes of raspberries - as though they are not quite ripe, which lends it an acidity. The flavor is sligtly acidic and tart and dominated by raspberries. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 17, 2005 (Bottle 75 cl) Vintage 1995. 200 grams of cherries for every liter leaves it’s mark: nice pink colour with a white head, almost clear. Extremely fruity, berry-like nose. Perfectly balanced between the sweet and sour. Sometimes framboises can be an overly cloying affair, but never here. 040799 joergen (6240), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 18, 2006 Bottle.
