Mucho thanks Matt for this 2000 bottle! Poured a hazed deep amber hue with reddish highlights topped by a small tight head. The nose detected a lush sour raspberry vapor along with some dusty hops, flowers, cheese, and was very inviting to say the least, NICE! The taste displayed a nice fruit and bready malt combination at first supported by a vinegar sourness and oak. A grassy but not bitter finish. The mouth feel is lively, tart, crisp, and quite refreshing with an oaky dry aftertaste. Real good!

2000 Vintage Poured a dark pink-brown color with a large off-white head that had a hint of pink. The aroma had a nice mix of berries and leather. The aroma was sweet and tart. The flavor was lightly sweet but short turning to tartness with raspberries. The finish was dry.

Bottle (750ml 1997 vintage). Shared with GregClow, tupalev, DougShoemaker, mds, Radek and others. Poured murky deep amber-orange with a small drizzly off-white head, tons of black seed-like floaties. Oh gawd, what a lovely aroma - initially fresh creamy raspberries, richly yeasty, a little dusty and a hint of sourness creeping in with peppery yeast notes as it warmed - this is 9 years old? Wow. The taste was pretty much the same, fresh berries, a bit creamy and funky, very yeasty, a little sticky-sweet to start but it finishes with some bitterness. Has a thick, creamy, sticky, syrupy mouthfeel - a wonderful treat, thanks for the share of your last bottle from a long-hoarded case of ’97, Dave S.

Vintage 1997. Dark, stormy with black seeds, hazy amber. Superb fruit raspberry nose, juicy, organic garden. Nose is gentle touched with sour breeze just makes this nose so much fuller. After sip you will notice soft fruity sweetness, with raspberry so well carved and preserved here. Finis was a bit short witch could be due to its age. Still great fruit drink.

Bottle. # 400 Belgium [Courtesy of Ungstrup, thanks buddy] Average fizzy white head that mostly diminishing. Muddy reddish brownish colour. Good display of lacework. Aroma of barnyard, soap, perfume, sour fruit and wheat. Over the palate came lovely mix of sour and sweet fruity notes. Full bodied with an average carbonation and dry texture. Moderated sour and sweet flavour. Imagineering sour fruity finish.

Bottle (2004) at NB Ølsymposium. Clear red - white head. Lots of berries (Raspberries) in the aroma light acid/sour. Taste: Raspberries, disolved white sugar, light strawberries, light sourness, acid, earthy, soil. Very dry finish !!
