Pours a cloudy dark ruby/plum color with golden pinkish ruby hues when held to a light source and a thin, quickly dissipating off-white, slightly pinkish head and some visible carbonation bubbling up. Minimal spots of lacing.
The aroma is dominated by fresh raspberries. Very sweet and sugary with some earthy oak tannis, barnyard and horsey funk. The nose isn’t as funky as I expected with more of a fruit character.
Very sweet with a nice sour funky tartness that is puckering without being overbearingly acidic. Nice oak tannis and slightly vinous with slight vanilla. Soft carbonation with a huge raspberry flavor and less funk than I expected. Well balanced and very quaffable.

Bottle [12oz]. 28.11.2011 on the bottle. Pours a very cloudy, very bubbly, deep red-copper with a large diminishing frothy off-white head. Nice tart aroma of raspberries, other fruit, light spices, some sweetness, light vinous notes and light funky yeast. Flavour’s pretty much the same, just slightly mellower: Tart raspberries, slightly vinous, light spices, very light funky yeast and some sweetness. A bit of "metal" in the finish. Light carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Average bodied. Pretty good, it could be more sour and funky but as it is it’s a nice patio beer for a warm Summer day.

Courtesy Aloysius. The pour is red/brown, surprisingly light, with lots of floaties. The aroma is sweet and tangy with a hint of cheese and crayon. The flavor is tangy and sweet with a bitter kick and an old cheese aftertaste. Not bad, not great.

Small pink head. Translucent deep red body. Strong oily raspberry and assorted fruits aroma, very fresh and clear. Dry and tart raspberry and wood taste, again clear & vivid. Sharp onset, but mild mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dry metallic raspberry aftertaste with wooden notes. Excellent. Fresh and sharp. (0.375l bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm.)

pours a purpleish red color. very nice sour fruity smell. great sour taste. very dry and goes down great!! great drink!

Bottle. Pours a dark pink/light red color with a decent sized pink head with good lacing. The aroma is tart raspberries, moderate funk, sugary sweet, and hints of bready yeast. The flavor is much sweeter than even the nose would indicate. Raspberry juice with only hints of tartness, mild funk, bready malts and touches of citrus. Worth trying once.
