pours hazy red with no head. aroma is bursting with tart raspberries and wild "outdoors" aroma. taste is tart and puckering up front and fades to a juicy/sweet raspberry that carries to the finish. no vinegar in this one which is nice. really a decent brew for the cash.

A very tasty Lambic. The pour was a much more natural color than Lindemann’s with a cloudy, dull red. The aroma was sour and that of raspberries. The flavor was raspberries, oak and tartness. A very drinkable Lambic, not overly sweet.

fizzy red colour with a pinkish head. Smells, unsurprisingly of raspberry. Tart and sour, but maybe could stand to be moreso. Ah well. Great isn’t a bad thing.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. red colour. Powerfull raspberry aroma and syruply palate. Average flavor. Moderate sweet and nice average finish. Earlier Rating: 5/29/2006 Total Score: 3.1 Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Red colour. Moderate hoppy aroma, raspberry notes ofcourse, but not overwealming. Moderate bitter finish. Nice oily palate, but I was a bit dissapointed about this beer.

Transparent ruby topped by a pink/purple head that’s gone very quickly. Nose is rather sweet with raspberry and balsamic notes winning out, some wood, malt, and sugar following. The flavor is rather thin, some fruit lingering with wood and malt. The palate is undercarbonated and doesn’t help the flavor, rather highlighting its lack of presence. The nose is non-traditional for a lambic and the flavor non-existent.

Bottle, 2004.
A fruity aroma of raspberries, well balanced between sour and sweet, very nice! The head is small, white and fizzy with a short duration. The body is cloudy and brown. The taste is only light sour, fruity and light acidic, later also light sweet. The body is light to medium, dry and light creamy with a lively carbonation.

2004 75cl Bottle from beers of europe. Light reddish-purple pour, the wife (who once worked for a paint company) insists that it’s ’golden brown’ ....hmm...perhaps. Very light pink fluffly head. Very fruity aroma- baked apples, pears, peaches, raspberries, black cherries. Good, tart aroma with the obligitory barnyard funk. As other posters have stated this certainly has a perfect sweet and sour combination with a notable fruit balance. The mouthfeel creates the impression a whole load of raspberries has been squashed against the roof of my mouth. Very finely balanced finish fluctuating between sweet and a pleasant tartness. Cracking stuff.
