This is a nice, dryish, tart lambic with some good flavour and it’s much more interesting and flavourful than their thin, bland kriek. It’s dark red, bubly, with a medium, faintly pinkish head that steadily shrinks to a thin top. The aroma is fruit, mostly raspberry but a little vague, bread, and a hint of iron. The taste is mostly tartness with a very light sourness, light yeassty quality, and light berry flavour. It’s tingly and rather dry with everything being a bit mild. It doesn’t have a strong tart berry flaovur or as much of a lambic quality as I was expecting but it’s still quite good and very crisp and refreshing.

a decent framboise...like an inbetween beer from lindamans and lou peppe......a sweeter interpratatioin of the style but suprisingly not cloying....or at lest not as cloying as lindamans...good rasberry flavor..but I wish it had more funk baby!

Bottled - vintage 2000 sampled May 2008. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet and acidic with notes of raspberries - as though they are not quite ripe, which lends it an acidity. The flavor is sligtly acidic and tart and dominated by raspberries.
Earlier Rating: 9/23/2003 Total Score: 3.9
[Mine had the same name - different label and was only 5.0% ABV - is it the same beer?] A beutiful clear dark red beer with a beutiful pink head though fast disappearing. The aroma is very sweet with notes of cherries? in a framboise? and some sharp notes. The flavor starts rather sweet with good cherry notes (still weird in a framboise), but then the mold, vinegar, sharpness, and metal from the wild fermentation hits - running along the sides of the tongue. The balance between the sharpness and sweetness is unique. All in all a great beer.

Bottle. [thank you, Ungstrup]
[at Yesprs tuesday tasting]
[vintage 2000]
Pours quite orange amber, a bit hazy. A frothy, small, off-white head on top. Aroma is lightly tart, subdued fruitiness. Fine, very dry mouthfeel. Flavour is pleasingly tart and dry, Very nice fruitiness. Still feels rather fresh. Wonderful.

Bottle, bought @ YNWA, Kolding.
[vintage 2006]
Pours a clear deep red, almost without any head. Aroma is sweet and very fruity, lots of winegums and raspberries. Well-rounded mouthfeel. Round flavour with oak, sweet fruit, barnyard and light tartness. Okay, but a little too boring.
