COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Framboise Boon is a traditional Belgian Lambic fruit-beer. It is brewed according to the traditional Lambic style of spontaneous fermentation. Only fresh raspberries (25%) and wildcherries (5%)are used for this Lambic beer. Framboise Boon is the missing link between beer and wine and is served chilled in flute glasses. NO artificial sweeteners, flavourings, preservatives or colouring agents. Brewed in Lembeek, the village that gave Lambic its name.

Weak pink head, dark opaque pink. Strong and nice raspberry aroma - like jam. Taste disappoints - watery and a bit sour with some notes of raspberry. Finishes watery and a bit dry.

Tap@Fermentoren, CPH - pours a reddish colour with pink head. Aroma and taste is prominent raspberry fruity, raspberry jam like, some other red berry fruits and tartness on the palate, not my style but pleasing and enjoyable nonetheless.

Bottiglia del 2012. Aroma vinoso e di intenso lampone!! Colore non proprio bellissimo per i miei gusti ma in bocca è un piacevole incontro. Giusto bilanciamento tra fruttato e acidulo!! Da riprovare...

Great raspberry lambic, tart and sour with great fruity balance, great example. Raspberry and cherries through and through.

Thin head, disappears quickly. Aroma of raspberries and wine. Tastes dry, sour and fruity (raspberries). Light body, very drinkable.

Semi-authentic but classic framboise with thin, loose head and deep ruby pinkish colour; raspberries very evident in the nose, even raspberry bushes, along with subtle lambic character, woody hints, funky accents; sweet sourish taste, utterly fruity, raspberry jam but lambic acidity and complexity is still in there too, with a somewhat woody and dryish finish. Sweetened alright (using only fresh raspberries would probably make this too expensive), but not bad at all in this particular style.

Bottle with cork (best before 2 years from now). Pours clear, blood red with fine bubbles and decent head. Aroma is sweet fruit, raspberry and cherry with a bit of cooked strawberry. There are some mid notes that are interesting. Taste is tart fruit with zingy carbonation. Clean flavors, not a lot of funk in this one. Really an excellent take on the style.

Fruchtig, Himbeer, Brause. Süßlich, etwas wenig Power. Recht süffig, etwas kohlensäurearm.

(sample from bottle) Red hazy colour. Small pinky foam. Refreshing, fruity aroma with notes of raspberry, raspberry stones, raspberry jam. The taste are mainly tart, and a little sweet trough raspberrys.
