Bottle (375ml) from Vinmonopolet (Storo), Oslo. Vintage 2010. Clear, intense ruby red colour. Bubbly, light pink head, settling as foamy film, leaving some lacing. Aroma of raspberry, cherry, redcurrant, cherry kernel, vinegar, yeast. Taste is very fruity, acidic rather than sweet, but the balance is good. Vinegar and yeast notes add complexity. Soft carbonation, medium/light body. Lasting fruity-dry aftertaste.

Deep dark pink color. Smell red fruit and slight sour. Decent taste. Slightly sourish, little bit like geuzes are sour, but only slightly. Not bad overall.

375ml 2010 bottle. Clear ruby red with a medium and quickly collapsing pale pink head. Sweet raspberry aroma. Raspberrysoda/lemonade, some ice cream and faint notes of glue stick and just a hint of brett. Taste is a bit on the sweeter side with a watery acidity with raspberries, apple peel and tea. The sweetness feels a bit artificial and it reminds me of sugarfree lemonade. Light and a bit watery body with soft tickeling carbonation. Slightly refreshing perhaps, but it lacks body, complexity and is a bit sweet.

375mL bottle poured reddish-brown into glass with slight pinkish head. Aroma of raspberries and yeast. Taste is of raspberries, fairly tart with some yeast. Good carbonation and medium body. A nice tickle on the tongue.

75 cl bottle as ”Framboise Mariage Parfait 2008” (6.2%), BBE 17.7.2013. Rated on 18.6.2011 Slightly sour and sweetish raspberry aroma. Flavour has also some sourness, but even more juice-like sweet raspberry. Quite balanced and ok, but still too sweet for me.

A murky reddish brown hue with a quickly fading pink. Aroma a nice yeast note upfront mixed with mild raspberries light malts and a slight ascorbic acid note. Flavor was pretty much sour. Sour from the yeast and sour from the raspberries. There was a slight contrast between them but I was expecting a little more sweetness coming from the raspberries. Finish was mildly acidic. Moderately carbonated.

Bottle from Midtown. Pours deep purple with a pink head. Aroma of wild yeast esters and raspberry. Full bodied with fine spritzy carbonation. Flavor of raspberry, wheat malts, and lots of funky wild phenols. Medium sweetness, which means there is more room to attenuate. Tart with out going over the top. Acidic finish.

Pours a deep purplish-mahogany. Slightly dark pink head, small and fades quickly and leaves no lacing. Huge raspberry aroma. Slight funk, smells a little seedy. Earthy. Very tart right up front. Sour, watered down mouthfeel. Raspberry flavor, but not as strong as the nose. A sweet tea-like aftertaste. Nice framboise.
