Pours deep mahogany into a tumbler. Off-white head crackles and recedes to nothing. Oak and summer fruit aromas. Spritzy with sweet raspberry upfront before turning to raspberry pith before the very bitter, sour earth finish.

Very nice fruitbeer. This beer isn’t made from syrups.. At least, it tastes really natural. Has a nice sour kick to it.

750 ml bottle, 6.2% abv. 2008 version, BBE 17.7.2013.
Pours a dark red colour with a slightly pink head on the edges. Some visible bubbles. Aroma of sweet raspberries and oak. Flavour of sweet raspberries with some sour notes, some oak and some citrus notes, mainly lemon. Medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel and a fruity, slightly oaky finish. Unlike most Boon brews, this is actually quite drinkable.

Bouteille de 25cl. Couleur marron-violet opaque, peu de mousse, aspect peu encourageant mai nez très agréable. Un gros arôme de framboise sur une gueuse acide juste ce qu’il faut. Trouvée à Ploegstaert - Vanuxeem.

Bottle from De Paas. Clear red pour with pink head. Strong raspberry aroma with matching flavor. Has some sourness but really is a little too sweet. A more accessible version of the style than some. (Rated 2011/06/04)

peach melba,yellow,clear, white foam, light sweetness, heavily sour, medium body, creamy, soft carbonation, nice sour finish.

Marmeladengeruch. Süßer, leider zu süßer Antrunk mit deutlichen Himbeeraromen, die aber schnell dumpf werden. Künstlich süß, dadurch nur wenig erfrischend. Geht so.. 8/7/6/7/9/7
