3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Kristall-König (1552) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - MAY 26, 2011
Test vom 1.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Scopey (1179) - Croydon, Surrey, ENGLAND - MAY 24, 2011
2009 Bottle, 5% at the Spread Eagle, Croydon. It pours slight hazy, deep red-purple, with a light pink head and lively carbonation. The nose is raspberry and cream, red grape, cherry and fresh cut grass. It tastes of tart and juicy raspberry, light astringency, cherry, red grape, metal, wood and spinach. It is well balanced and overall quite tangy and sour. It has a foamy mouth-feel and finishes on a juicy cherry note. A decent framboise.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Hair6a11 (931) - Illinois, USA - MAY 11, 2011
Pour is dark ruby, with a light pink head that retains on the average side. Fine bubbled, and no lacing present here. Finally, some funk, albeit on the mild side on the nose; Raspberries are clearly present here as well, coupled with a base earthiness from the oak. Raspberry jam, lemon rind, hay, funk, oak - the middle of the brew is lacking a bit in my opinion, but this isn’t bad at all.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 JCB (2918) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - MAY 6, 2011
Thanks to Todd for a slightly less vintage treat: merely an ’04 lambic. Kind of a dingy, hazy brown pour. Medium bubbles, thinnish body. Nose is fairly sweet, with a hint of an acetic quality. Taste is guts of the berry, a smoothie poured into a lambic perhaps. Mild oak on the finish.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 KnutAlbert (4384) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 5, 2011
Bottle at Amundsen.
Sweet fruit, some sourness underneath, but that is largely hidden by the raspeberries and sugar.

Older bottle (2004) shared by OldStyleCubFan. Pours reddish pink with orange hues. Not much head. Just a hint of sourness if any... more raspberry syrup. Not terrible, but meh.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 JoeMcPhee (6835) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - APR 2, 2011
Amber-ruddy pour. The nose is loaded with bright raspberry. A little bit of light corkiness on the back. Fairly simple beer. Showing a little bit of oxidation but not a lot of complexity. A fairly simple sort of confection. It certainly isn’t what it’s namesake gueuze is. Very jammy.
