TheGrandMaster (1617), Auckland, New Zealand Jul 25, 2008 Bottle (in NZ), poured a cloudy pinkish brown, with a foamy pink head. A tangy sour aroma of raspberries. Sour on the palate, but also acidic - hinting that it hasn’t enjoyed the long journey to NZ. Raspberry and some banana flavours. The finish is mroe full, creamy and salty. I’ve tasted it in better nick than this - shame.
Adenila (733), Denmark Jan 1, 2009 Dark red in color with a pink disappearing head. Strong fruity rasberry notes in the aroma. Mainly sweet flavor that i found a little bit cloying, with some medium tart notes. Not as refreshing as the parfait, but still very good. Travlr (427), Washington, Washington DC, USA Dec 21, 2008 A pretty simple and straightforward raspberry lambic, a bit more lively and sweeter than I expected. Fruit background with some sourness. Not bad. ajwilliams (73), , Indiana, USA Dec 20, 2008 Pours a clear ruby red with a thin pink head. The aroma is raspberries, as well as plenty of lambic funkiness/fishiness. The flavor is sweet with fresh berries, along with sour acidic fermentation. A really great lambic and just what I expected. Champagne mouthfeel. wyzzywyz22 (499), Wirral, Merseyside, England Dec 9, 2008 Bottle, Ale Cellar, Darlington. Poured a dark red colour with a medium pinkish head.
Big raspberry aroma which continued in to the flavour which started sweet then kicked in to a sourness which had a wonderful balance to it. Supremely tasty. Lubiere (3524), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Dec 8, 2008 A clear rosy brown lambic with a thick white head. A pleasant raspberry cream aroma, ice cream. In mouth, raspberry and light menthol, light acidity. Very nice. Born 2002, BB 8 august 2008. Tasted June 2008.
