Bottle. Vintage 2004. Redish-orange color with a thin white head. Aroma is very strong and loaded with raspberry, raspberry seeds, vanilla, wood and some funky sourness. Amazing flavor, tons of raspberries. Balanced with a slightly sour, funkiness and caramel malt backbone. Sweet and sour at the same time. Lighter body with an almost creamy texture and a dry finish.

Bottle (Vintage 2003). Hazy reddish color with a nice light red creamy head. Lots of berrys in aroma and taste. Quite sweet, fresh and a bit dry.

Bottled - vintage 2000 sampled May 2008. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet and acidic with notes of raspberries - as though they are not quite ripe, which lends it an acidity. The flavor is sligtly acidic and tart and dominated by raspberries.

[Mine had the same name - different label and was only 5.0% ABV - is it the same beer?] A beutiful clear dark red beer with a beutiful pink head though fast disappearing. The aroma is very sweet with notes of cherries? in a framboise? and some sharp notes. The flavor starts rather sweet with good cherry notes (still weird in a framboise), but then the mold, vinegar, sharpness, and metal from the wild fermentation hits - running along the sides of the tongue. The balance between the sharpness and sweetness is unique. All in all a great beer.

200 grams of cherries for every liter leaves it’s mark: nice pink colour with a white head, almost clear. Extremely fruity, berry-like nose. Perfectly balanced between the sweet and sour. Sometimes framboises can be an overly cloying affair, but never here. 040799

Bottle 37,5 cl Courtesy of Grovlam. Hazy reddish with an off-white head. Very fruity raspberry aroma. Medium body, sweet’n’sour notes with a very distinct raspberry flavour propelled by a fresh, light sourness. 7/2/7/3/13=3.2 290607

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy to pale red with a lacing white head. Light woody raspberry aroma. Medium sweet at first with a light wooden note turning into a light acidic note. Finish is light tart and delicate fruity. Light sulphorish note.

From 37.5 cL bottle. Pours reddish with light off-white head. Nice citric cherry aroma. Sweet and sour cherry flavoured. Rather dry. Dry cherry sour finish. Very nice.7-4-8-4-16=3.9

Aged 5 years at the time of sampling. Red-brown. Aroma of over-ripe raspberries, balanced sweetness. Portwine flavour.

Bottled. Hazy murky reddish brown colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is earth, raspberries and some sourness. Flavour is raspberries, sourness and some earthy notes. Pleasantly balanced and overall very nice.

Bottled. Deep red colour, mediumsized reddish head. Aroma of raspberries and sourness. Flavour is sourish sweet with mild raspberry tones coming in, pleasantly balancing up the whole thing. A bit watery to the palate and nicely tickling carbonation.

Bottle. Clear red coloured with a huge off white head. Acidic aroma of berries and wood. Light acidic flavour with lots of berries and wood. Good lambic.
