2005 corked bottle. Initial rush of raspberries was promiising but the robustness quickly dissipated Nice lactic notes in nose that lingered till the end. Poured a thin pink head that was quickly gone. Pretty deep rose red color. UMM, love that lactic dryness in the mouth, compliments the tartness of the fruit. Raspberry flavour is evident but needs to be bigger to balance the tartness (not sweeter, just bigger). Missing that horse-blanket earthy flavour that defines a truely excellent lambic - maybe needs to be older (their was yeast in the bottle). A great drinking Lambic after a long bike ride on a hot day. If they combined the rich fruit character of their Kriek with the lactic of this Framboise, threw in the horse-blanket wild yeasts and let it sit for a few more years before they released it they would have a truely awesome product. Far better than the sweet, fruit juice fair that has been passing for Lambic in this part of the world for the last few years

Pours a cloudy pinkish brown with red hues and a white head. Smells strongly of raspberries, slightly sour. The flavour is also very sour, but not necessarily in a bad way. It is a very carbonated beer and raspberries dominate, as expected, but there is a touch of malt and an odd metallic taste near the finish - this could be the alcohol flavour mixing with the fruit. Although I am a fan of sour flavours when it comes to lambics, this could benefit from a touch of sweetness, perhaps just to mellow the intensity of flavour. On saying that hwever, the palate is left with a lingering berry sweetness that begs for another sip.

bb 06/03/12 Pours cherry red with small head. Aroma of rasberry with an acidic balance. Taste is a very good balance of rasberry and acidity, not to sour or lactic. Overall a very good beer, not as acidic as lambics.

Aroma is crisp and sweet, no head when poured. Has a slightly hazy red color. Taste wasn't as exciting as its smell. Very tart at first with a sour finish. Overall it was enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This beer is dark and has a creamy woodberry head. The aroma is well hidden. The first impression while tasting do bring up the woodberries again. Refreshing and drinkable.

Nice color, light red. The aroma is nice with nice rasberrry touch, Fruity and a bit tart, and a little acidic taste, but a little too sweet or my taste.

My first Lambic so it’s hard for me to know if this is true to style, but here goes. Aroma - Almost wine. Can definately smell the wood. Head - Quickly disapates, no lacing to speak of. Taste - Wooden but not dry. Definate raspberry taste. Overall - I really don’t know. It’s complex for a beer, but I kept having this nagging voice in the back of my head saying expensive wine cooler. I’ll definately try a few more in the style. (NOTE: The version of this beer that I tried was 5%ABV. Not sure if there are two varieties, but it’s worth noting)

Pours a dark red wine color with very little head. Has a tart cranberry taste with a weird buttery mouth feel. Cranberry aftertaste.

poured out an almost greyish purple color, with small light lavender head that dissipated very quickly. had a very light taste as well as a little tart. had a bit more of a alcohol taste compared to other fruit lambics. nothing compared to lindeman’s raspberry lambic.

Very nice fruity aroma, but light and inviting. Looks very full, dark red. Very frothy, initially dry and then becoming simply full. Very sour too, but balanced with the sweetness.
