Framboise Boon is a traditional Belgian Lambic fruit-beer. It is brewed according to the traditional Lambic style of spontaneous fermentation. Only fresh raspberries (25%) and wildcherries (5%)are used for this Lambic beer. Framboise Boon is the missing link between beer and wine and is served chilled in flute glasses. NO artificial sweeteners, flavourings, preservatives or colouring agents. Brewed in Lembeek, the village that gave Lambic its name.

Smells very much of Raspberries and really quite sweet. However, taste a lot dryer and far less sweet. Not my favourite framboise, but very good example never the less.

Bottle. Pours dark brownish red with a white head with pink nuances. The Aroma is fruity and tart with some sweet raspberry yogurt, fresh raspberry juice, weak marzipan, jammy notes and red gummy bears. The taste is tart and has some notes of dry straw, fresh raspberries, some bitter woody notes, jam, sweet gummy bears and some black and red currants.

Lovely nice and balanced ale.
Red color with a small pink head. Both flavor and aroma are dominated by mellow and nice raspberries. Pleasant acidity and a moderate sweetness. Medium body and a pleasant carbonation. Good intensity in both aroma and flavor. Recommendable.

Moderate even sweet and sour raspberry aroma. Crimson color with a small white head. Lightly sweet beginning with a light tart finish. More of a balanced lambic than others I’ve tried.

2013 bottle. Aroma of raspberries and whipped creme. Dark cherry color. Minimal head. A bit dry but full of raspberry juice. Not too sweet not bitter or tart at all. Simple carbonated raspberry syrup drink. Good for guests or people who dont traditionally like beer. Thanks for sharing LagziLajcsi!

Clear red appearance with close to no head. Tastes of sour raspberries and some cherries, with some tear gas. Light body, low level of carbonation and a ok finish of berries. Fresh, but far from a favourite

0.375l bottle, vintage 2013. Clear ruby body, thin pink head. Aroma of raspberry syrup, bread and yeast. Not as sweet as what the aroma suggest. Taste of raspberry syrup and soda with a tiny bit of bread and a hint of lemon zest. Sweet, but the finish is a bit sour too. Not so complex but OK.

Bottle at tasting. Aroma strong strong raspberry. Singledimensional. Seems even artificial. Almost clear dark red colour. Taste is thin, mouthfeel watery. Simple raspberry flavour, light light sourness tartness and sweetness in good balance. Lacks intensity and body though.
